Why a lift fades
Each lash grows, rests and sheds on its own cycle, and you lose a few every day. A lift reshapes the lashes you have on the day of treatment. As those lashes shed, new ones grow in straight, so the effect fades gradually rather than all at once. By around four to six weeks, enough have been replaced that it is time to lift again.
What shortens a lift
- Getting lashes wet, steamy or made-up in the first 24 hours
- Heavy oil-based cleansers and eye creams used every day
- Rubbing your eyes or sleeping face-down against the pillow
- Waterproof mascara that needs scrubbing to remove
What helps it last
- Following the first-24-hours aftercare carefully
- Brushing lashes into place with a clean spoolie each morning
- Choosing gentle, water-based products around the eyes
- Choosing a keratin lash infusion, which our booking listing puts at six to eight weeks
How often to rebook
Around every six weeks, once most of the lifted lashes have grown out. Booking much sooner means lifting hair that is already shaped, which risks over-processing. We will tell you at your appointment when your lashes are ready again.
And the tint?
Tint tends to fade a little sooner than the curl, especially if you use oil-based removers. That is normal, and it is refreshed each time you come in.

Questions we’re often asked
Can a lash lift last longer than six weeks?
Some clients with a slower growth cycle see it last a little longer, and the keratin lash infusion is listed at six to eight weeks. For the Korean lift, four to six weeks is typical.
How soon can I get another lash lift?
Wait until most of the lifted lashes have grown out, usually around six weeks, to avoid over-processing.
