Safety comes down to three things: the products, the technique, and whether the treatment is right for you on the day.
The products matter
Lifting and lamination solutions work by softening the hair's bonds so it can be reshaped. Formulas vary a lot in how strong they are. Every lash lift we do uses a thioglycolate-free formula, and our keratin infusions use the ECO Infusion system from Korea, which contains no HCL or thioglycolate and is vegan and cruelty-free.
The technique matters
Products are applied to the lashes only, never the eye itself, and your eyes stay closed throughout. Timing each step correctly is what separates a healthy lift from an over-processed one. That is where training and experience count.
Tell us about past reactions
If you have sensitive skin or have reacted to a beauty product before, mention it when you book and again at your consultation, even if you are not asked.
Who should wait
Hold off on a lash lift or brow lamination, and check with your doctor, if you:
- Have an eye infection, irritation or stye
- Have had recent eye surgery or a recent eye procedure
- Have a skin condition, cut or irritation on the treatment area
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding and unsure; many clients choose to wait, and your doctor is the right person to ask
- Are undergoing a medical treatment that affects your skin or hair
Sensitive eyes
Sensitive eyes do not usually rule a lift out. Tell us at the consultation, and tell us straight away if anything stings during the treatment. We can pause, adjust, or stop.
If a lift elsewhere went wrong
Lashes left uneven, over-curled or crossed by a lift done somewhere else can often be corrected. Our Lift Reset starts with an assessment of your natural lashes to decide whether it is safe to go ahead. A correction can't be guaranteed, and sometimes the kindest answer is to let the lashes recover before another chemical treatment.
If something feels wrong afterwards
Mild, brief redness can happen. Anything painful, swollen or lasting should be checked by a medical professional, and please let us know too.

Questions we’re often asked
Do I need a patch test before a lash lift?
No, we don't do patch tests. If you have sensitive skin or have reacted to a beauty product before, tell us when you book and at your consultation, and Tas will talk it through with you before she starts.
Can I get a lash lift with sensitive eyes?
Usually, yes. Mention it when you book and at the consultation, and tell us immediately if anything stings.
Can I get a lash lift while pregnant?
Many clients choose to wait. Check with your doctor first and let us know when you book.
